In addition to the less expensive, shorter Echo, the Echo Plus, and the new Fire TV with HDR, Amazon has introduced the Echo Spot – a new and interesting foray into the smart alarm clock space. Arguably a better implementation of a screen on an Echo than the Show, the Spot should be at home on your bedside table, offering music and alarm functionality along with video and data displayed on the 2.5 inch circular screen.
